verse marker
verse marker
Each song has several slides I would like to mark each slide with a V1, V2, or C, and so forth. But I don't want the V1, V2, and so forth to be on the slide for everyone to see, but I would like it to be above each slide for the operator only to see. Does anyone know how to do that? Or should I say can this be done with this program, thanks in advance, Ron.
Hi Ron,
this option is called "Vers-Marker"
you can write above each part a predefined word like "vers 1", "vers2", "chorus", ...
The line is signed in another color and is only visible on the preview-monitor and the song-edit-dialog of songbeamer.
selfdefined words can also be used: Use $$M=[your marker]
In the wiki are more information available:

There is a couple of predefined verse markers. Just put them in an empty line.
You can use the following markers in the English version:
Pre-Chorus, Pre-Refrain, Pre-Bridge, Pre-Coda, Chorus, Verse, Intro, Coda, Ending, Bridge, Interlude, Misc, Part, Untitled, Unknown
After the verse marker you can add a space followed by a number (Verse 1). After the "Part" marker you can also write uppercase letters (Part A).
Use $$M=[your marker] if you need a custom marker.
BTW: You can also post in the English forums. We have an email notifier, so we won't miss anything.
