Tipp Autostart

Hallo zusammen,
um Songbeamer per Autostart von einem USB-Stick zu starten, legt man sich eine Datei mit dem Namen autorun.inf in dem Hauptverzeichnis des USB-Sticks an.
Der Inhalt der autorun.inf sollte dann fogendermaßen aussehen:
Code: Alles auswählen
[AutoRun]
open=songbeamer\songbeamer.exe
icon=songbeamer.ico
action=Songbeamer starten
Das gewünschte Icon legt man auch im Hauptverzeichnis ab.

Das funzt auf meinem XP-Notebook nicht.
Es erscheint beim Stecken des USB-Sticks nur dieses Standard-Popup "Welche Aktion soll durchgeführt werden?"

in diesem Fenster sollte normalerweise an erster Stelle "Songbeamer starten" erscheinen.

Das steht da auch, ich nahm aber an, dass beim Stecken des USB-Sticks die Anwendung gleich automatisch startet...

soweit ich weiß kannst du sagen bzw. einen Haken setzen dass immer die ausgewählte Aktion durchgeführt wird.
Kann ich mal heute Abend zuhause ausprobieren

diese Option kenne ich nur von Vista und Win7...bei XP hab ich das nicht.
Ich teste es heute Abend mal mit Win7.

Doch müsste bei xp auch gehen.
Ich empfehle aber, das autoplay generell zu deaktivieren.

Warum?
Wenn ich den Stick benutze, will ich ausschließlich SB verwenden...

Windows 7 unterstützt nicht mehr das automatische starten von Programmen auf einem normalen USB-Stick.
Kann sein dass man SongBeamer mit einem U3-fähigen USB-Stick automatisch unter Win7 starten kann, bin mir aber nicht sicher.
There is no general way to automatically run a program on a USB Flash drive in a Windows 7 system, or add an option to the AutoPlay dialog box; but in some circumstances one of the following techniques can be used:
- Use a U3 smart drive (or similar). These USB drives have a firmware that presents them as CD drive when they are inserted into a computer. These kinds of USB flash drives are not affected by the changes in Windows 7. Autorun will work as it was a CD. U3 smart drives are primarily used to run programs on the USB drive and are not used to install programs on the computer. If you only need to run a program locally, and don't need to install, a U3 smart drive can be an option. But if you need to install files or update settings in the operating system (for example in the Registry) a U3 smart drive can not be used. The basic idea of U3 is that when the drive is removed from the host computer, there should be no traces left in that computer.
